 This traditional strap is made from premium "ENGLISH BRIDLE" leather (9 oz.) 100% vegetable-tanned from top-grade U.S. steer hides. Heavy-duty buckles are nickel plated. 5/8" wide. Sold individually.

Shoulder Strap

 

Convenient for off-bike excursions. 

 Our adjustable shoulder strap clips to our Boxy Rando and Tall Rando Bags ONLY*. Lightweight and packs small. The hooks swivel to prevent twisting of the strap. Perfect for carrying your bag into the corner market or coffeehouse. 

 Not intended for extra heavy loads or extended hikes


*Not recommended for use with our Handlebar Bags. These bags will tilt when using a shoulder strap.

Stabilizing Cords

 

Replacement Stabilizing Cords for our Boxy and Handlebar Bags. 

Most any piece of string will work just fine...but we offer these replacements if you want to splurge. You get 2 pieces of 22 inch parachute cord and 2 Fastex brand cordlocks. (The cords and locks are made in the U.S.A. and the cordlocks are the strongest in the business with a 10 lb spring.)

Here's a slip-proof way of installing the cords (see photos):

1) Loop loose cord around handlebar.
2) Feed one end of cord through d-ring "from above".
3) Feed other end through d-ring "from below".
4) Insert cord lock and snug up against d-ring.
5) Knot loose ends together and tuck into pocket.

Leather Washers

 

A finishing touch for mounting fenders. 

Leather washers are the traditional choice for mounting metal fenders and racks--it's a perfect material for dampening vibration and silencing rattles. Made from premium "ENGLISH BRIDLE" leather (9 oz.) 100% vegetable-tanned from top-grade U.S. steer hides. I hand punch these, so they're not machine centered perfect, but close to it. 5/8" OD, 3/16" ID, approx. 1/8" thick. (16 x 5 x 3 mm) (M5 bolt pictured for reference, not included.)

Martexin Original Wax

 

Reproof the old fashioned way. 

 If you ride rain or shine, your canvas bag will appreciate an occasional touch-up or re-application of wax. You probably already proof your Brooks saddle; canvas also needs a little preventive maintenance for best performance. 1.5 oz. tin is enough to treat a larger sized bag. 

(Please note that wax should not be applied to leather, binding/edging tape or synthetic fabrics. Warm up wax, apply sparingly and finish off with a hair dryer. Do not overheat.)
