Only a handful of shops in Europe can pride themselves in offering the fantastic designs of the Japanese designer Koji Norihide. For his 1998 founded label he chose the name Haversack as an homage to the once extremely durable linen bread sacs of the US Army.
In terms of fabric texture and tailoring Koji Norihide bases his designs on the French style of the 1930s and 40s during the late Art déco era. Haversack articles such as shirts, waistcoats, blazers and pants are based on old samples, though receiving a modern touch through intelligent details and handcraft.
